You can import sales or forecasted sales data that you may have tracked in spreadsheets directly into Tanda.

Import via CSV for Sales, Revenue and Demand Data
To upload your data, navigate to Settings in the top right > Integrations > Manage Data Streams.
In the top right, you will see two buttons:
Import Actuals Data is for adding real data (what actually happened historically).
Import Predicted Data is where you add your forecasts calculated outside of Tanda (what you want to plan against for the future). Tanda can calculate forecasts based on your actuals data, so this is optional.
Follow the steps on the import pages to load your data into Tanda. You can download the Demand Data CSV template to see how the file should be configured.
Under section 2 > Select an import configuration, choose New Configuration and match the columns from your file so that Tanda knows how to import it. You can name and save this config to make importing in the future easier:
For these columns, Tanda needs to know a few things to import properly:
Time (optional): The time of day when the sale/transaction/metric occurred (you can leave this column blank if you want to enter total daily sales).
Data Stream Name: The name of the group of data you want to work with, such as Location name, POS Terminal 1 vs 2, or Food vs Beverage, etc.
Date: The date when the sale/transaction/metric occurred.
Data Point: The numerical value of the data, such as transaction count or sales dollar value.
Data Type: The "type" of data. For example, for a number of sales, you might call it 'sales'.
Once your data is configured, open step 3 and click Import.
Note: You will need to return to this import page each time you wish to import new data.
Checking your Import
Once you have imported your data, you should be returned to the import screen with a "Successfully imported data" message:
To check that the data has come in as expected, head to Manage Your Datastreams.
If importing data for the first time, you should see a new data stream matching the "Data Stream Name" column in your CSV:
If you need to import data from the same source again, use the same data stream name, and the new stats will appear in that data stream.

Once you have imported data, you will need to Configure your Sales, Revenue & Demand Data (Data Streams) to link them to locations and teams in Tanda.
