In Tanda, your Staff are located under Staff > My Team:
Staff listed in My Team are those who have been allocated to Teams that you are responsible for:
There are a few different methods of adding new staff to Tanda, so it may be best to have a chat with your Admin and agree on the best process:
Employee Onboarding App
With Tanda's Employee Onboarding App, Admins in Tanda can SMS new staff a link to the App to fill in their details. As soon as the Admin invites the new employee to Tanda, their profile is created. The Admin will need to assign the new employee to your Team in Tanda so you can then see their profile.
Manually add Staff
Click on the green + Add Staff button in the top right and Add Manually:
Fill in the relevant fields and ensure you have allocated them to the relevant Teams:
If the Employee also needs to be in a Team that you aren't a Manager for, you'll just need to get the Admin on the account to add this to their profile so other Team Managers can see this employee's profile in their Team. Just ensure the other Team Manager doesn't also add the Employee to Tanda or you'll have a double up.
If your business has a Payroll & Accounting program with a Live API connection with Tanda, and the new Employee is added to this system first, Tanda will automatically import their details (we look for new staff every hour).
You'll need to check with your Admin whether this has occurred so you don't double up and manually add in the Employee to Tanda as well. If the Employee has automatically been imported into Tanda, the Admin can assign them to your Team so you can see their profile.
Update Staff Details
If you need to edit any staff information, just click on their name in the My Team page to go into their Profile.
From here, depending on the restrictions on your account, you can edit any fields under the tabs at the top.
Just note that if your business has a policy to restrict pay rates/costs for Team Managers, you won't see the Payroll tab in Staff profiles. To update any of this information, please let your Admin know.
For any changes, just ensure you click the green Update Employee Details button at the bottom to save.
If an Employee wants another copy of their Passcode, you can do this either in their profile by clicking on the blue envelope next to their Passcode (in the screenshot above) or in the My Team page by clicking on Tools:
You can send out bulk Passcodes in this section. It's also worth noting that you can also access your Staff Birthdays and Unavailability in this section.
If any of your team members finish up employment, you can remove them in Tanda by clicking Deactivate profile within their profile in the My Team page.
If the Employee ever returns, you can reactivate them under the My Team page > Tools > Former Staff.
