Once the Operations add-on is enabled and assets have been created, staff can checkout and return assets with the View, Checkout, and Return permissions enabled.
Any assets that can be checked out by staff will also need the Can this asset be shared with employees setting enabled.
Check assets in and out through the mobile app
Once the relevant permissions are enabled and assets are created and shared with staff, employees can start checking assets in and out.
Staff can access them through the Assets button under Quick Links.
Any assets already checked out will appear under the Checked out tab, and assets that are available will appear under the Available tab.
Once the asset has been check out, it will move to the Checked out tab.
Once the asset has been successfully returned, it will move back to the Available tab.
Check assets in and out through the desktop
Staff with access to the Tanda desktop can also check out and return assets here.
Once the asset is successfully checked out, the status will update to Checked Out.

Why can't I see the Assets option?
You may not have the necessary permissions to view assets, assets may not be shared with employees, or there may not be any assets associated to the teams you work in. Check with a manager or account admin that your permissions are accurate and the asset has been configured correctly.
Can I check out an asset that's already checked out?
No, only assets that have been returned and have the Available status can be checked out.
Can I return an asset on an employee's behalf?
If an employee doesn't mark an asset as returned via Tanda, the asset's availability can be reset.
To do so, click Edit Asset next to the relevant item and then Update Asset without changing any details.
