Key Alerts let you keep your finger on the pulse of your business. This will help business owners identify actionable issues that are happening right now, such as when an employee forgets to clock in, or when someone becomes an overtime risk for the current pay period.

Enabling Key Alerts

To visit the page, go to your Navigation Bar > Notifications and tasks. Enabling  Key alerts will also enable your push notifications on your phone so make sure you have the Employee app installed.

Receiving of Key Alerts

The alerts will be sent to whoever is set to receive it. For example, you chose to alert the manager. The manager who clocked in for that day will get the alert through the employee app. If there's none, then all managers for that team will be notified. You also have an option to notify all admins of the organisation for every key alert.

Setting Up Lenience

You can customize when should the key alert be triggered. Just add the number of minutes that the system should follow for the delay of the alert. Minimum is 5 minutes and the maximum for the delay is up to 60 minutes.

Types of Key Alerts

Late to Work

The Late to Work alert will send a notification when an employee still hasn't clocked in 5 minutes after their shift should have started. This lets you know if employees are actually late, as well as letting you know when they forget to clock in, saving you time fixing up their timesheets later on.

Late to Clock Out

This alert will notify users when an employee hasn't clocked out 5 minutes after their shift should have ended. Besides saving you time approving timesheets, this will also help you prevent unexpected daily overtime.

Didn't Clock Break

When your employees don't clock their scheduled break, this will let you know 5 minutes after their break was meant to start.

Overtime Risk

When an employee is projected to go into overtime later in the pay period, the overtime risk notification will let you know. When an employee finishes their shift for the day, Tanda will check if that employee has future scheduled shifts that will put them into overtime, and it will send the notification if they do.

Qualification maximum hours risk

This type of alert is helpful for managers and admins to be compliant with the conditions when rostering their staff and to remind the staff not to exceed the expected hours work. Learn more about our Qualifications feature by reading this article.
