Forms Explained

Digitise paper forms and create workflows for approval.

Updated over a week ago

This feature is available for users on the Tanda HR plan.

This help guide will explain Tanda's Forms feature.

What Are Forms?

You can use forms to collect information, feedback, and requests from employees. Replacing traditional paper forms, Tanda allows you to create templated forms with custom approval and notification workflows. Forms can be configured to require response types like:

  • Checkbox confirmation

  • Photo/file submission

  • Text & number inputs

  • Date & time inputs

  • Weight/scale recordings

  • Signatures

  • Currency

  • Ratings and sliders

Once you have created your Form Templates, you can assign them to be completed by a specific employee or all employees that match the relevant Position and/or Team.

How Are Forms Structured?

Each form in Tanda contains questions that are grouped into one or more sections.

  • Form - specify the name, relevant location, and due time of the checklist.

  • Section - group similar questions/fields together.

  • Question - specify the question as well as the response type.

How Can I Access Forms?

Forms are available for accounts with Tanda HR enabled.

Once enabled, find forms under the HR tab in your Tanda account.

When Should I Use Forms?

You can use forms in many different ways across your business. Common use cases include:

  • Employee Surveys

  • Incident Reporting

  • Uniform Ordering

  • Reimbursement Requests

  • Kilometre Allowance
