Rosters can be personalised to display information the way you like. There are various filtering options that make this possible. This article will outline how to configure your roster view, choose the stats you wish to display, and use roster reports to assist in deciding how you roster.
What this help guide covers:
Roster View
Located at the top of your roster are several filtering options to customise the way you view your roster. The filters give you the ability to set a roster view period of weekly, fortnightly, 4-weekly, monthly, or custom.
There's also the option to group by the team, stack shift cards or view shifts by employee, hide and display information, and more. It's recommended to test options to see what you like best.
You're also able to change the order in which your employees are shown by clicking the following button in the top roster. This order can only be changed in staff view and cannot be changed in daily rosters.
After clicking the pen icon, you can drag and drop staff in the order you prefer. Click the save icon to save the for the future.

To view the cost breakdown of a roster:
When reporting on a roster, there are multiple filters that can be utilised to craft a report reflective of business goals:
Stat: determines the key metric you would like to analyse. Options include shift count, shift costs, average hourly rate, roster hours, wage as a % of revenue, sales per labour hour, and predicted sales. The option selected determines what appears in the graph. All stats will be displayed in the table beneath the graph.
Time Grouping: determines the time increments along the X-axis in the graph and as rows on the table. Options include by date, week, and by day of the week. The duration of the report should be specified in the time and duration fields, located above the time grouping filter.
Second Grouping: permits data to be grouped in addition to time-based increments. Options include grouping data by employee, team, or location. 'None' can be selected if no further grouping is required.
Aggregate allows data to be displayed as a sum or an average.
The filter enables a specific point of data to be isolated. This field could be used to report on a particular employee, as an example.
Once filtered to the desired output, data can be downloaded as a CSV by clicking the 'Download as CSV button at the bottom of the report.
Roster On Costs
If you want to view costs such as payroll tax, leave accrual and superannuation in your roster cost, you can do this by configuring on-costs.
Go to Settings in the top right > All Settings > On-Cost Config.
Three on-costs are automatically set up when your account is created - Workcover, Cost of Leave Accrued, and Superannuation. To create a new on-cost configuration, follow the steps below:
Click + New config on the left
Enter the necessary details, including the name of the config, who it should apply to (via tags and/or location), the on-cost percentage, if it should only apply to ordinary hours, and if it is a pension fund on-cost.
Click Create on-cost config to save changes
If you want to edit any of the preset configurations, you will need to create a copy of the configuration as a new config, and delete the preset one.
Viewing on the Roster
To view the total cost of your roster including on costs, navigate to Time & Attendance > Rosters and use the arrow in the stats display in the top left-hand corner to select what you want to display:
