Changes to Tanda's billing calculation from 12th January 2026

Tanda is making a change to the way the number of users is calculated for billing purposes. As part of this change, a new report is also being introduced that provides you with a list of Active Profiles that are billed for use each month, making it easier to understand your invoices.

When does this change take effect from?


If you pay your subscription monthly, the change applies from your first invoice that occurs on or after 12th January 2026. If you pay your subscription annually, from the date of your next annual renewal that occurs on or after 12th January 2026.

If you pay your subscription annually, you can identify when your annual renewal date is by looking at the Accounts & Billing page inside your Tanda account, and referring to the 'Next Annual Renewal Date'.

How will Tanda calculate the number of Active Profiles that are charged each month under the new method?

Tanda will charge for the total number of unique Active Profiles in your Tanda account across the calendar month prior to the monthly billing date.

For example, if your billing date is the 15th day of each month. To determine the number of Profiles charged on that date, Tanda will count the total number of unique Active Profiles that were active in the period spanning between the 16th day of the month prior to the 15th day of the current month.

Profiles that are deactivated for the entire month do not contribute to the Active Profile count for billing purposes, but profiles that were active for any part of the month are counted. A Profile is considered to be deactivated when it is listed on the deactivated staff list inside your Tanda account.

A Profile's invite status and permission level do not affect whether it is an Active Profile.

If the same Profile is activated and deactivated multiple times within the same month, it is only counted once towards the number of Active Profiles.

Where can I access a report of Active Profiles that were billed for use?

For invoices generated on or after 12th January 2026, a hyperlink will be inserted in the footer of each .PDF invoice generated from Tanda. This hyperlink will take you to a report specifying which Active Profiles were billed in the month prior to the invoice.

Are there any changes to Tanda's pricing?

No, Tanda's access fees per Active Profile from 12th January 2026, will remain the same as Tanda's current fees per End User.
