Some employees may choose to have additional tax withheld from their pay. Learn more on the ATO's website.
Setting up a tax variation
Navigate to the employee's payroll profile via Payroll > Staff
Under the section Voluntary Tax click 'Add'
Enter a fixed amount of earnings percentage to be withheld from each pay run
Optionally enter a total amount to be paid. Each pay period, Tanda will track how much additional tax the employee has had withheld. Once this total amount has been paid, the additional amount will stop being withheld.
