This help guide will detail how to access, run, and interpret Tanda's suite of Payroll Reports.
What Does This Help Guide Cover?
Payroll Reporting Permissions
Users require specific permissions to access reports in Tanda. Otherwise, the Reports tab at the top of the page will be hidden to protect sensitive information.
To view which user permission level can access each report, scroll to the bottom of the Reports page and click 'BI Reporting.'
Broadly, users with Admin permissions can access all reports, while users with Employee permissions cannot. Users with Manager permissions can access most reports, though not all, as some are admin-only. Access levels for any custom roles you have created will vary.
To check a user's permissions, navigate to their staff profile and look for the following:
To update an employee's permission level, simply tick the desired permission, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click UPDATE EMPLOYEE DETAILS.
Should you wish to, you can customise these reporting permissions to grant other users access to Payroll Reports. Potential use-cases may include:
Area managers who aren't responsible for processing payroll, but do follow up on wage costs & budgets.
Franchisees who have a centralised payroll process.
Venue managers reviewing a labour budget.
To customise or restrict who can access Payroll Reports, navigate to Settings > Permissions > Show Advanced Settings > Customise Access & Roles Here. Then, select 'View' next to the role for which you want to enable this permission, scroll down to the 'Payroll' subheading, and toggle the 'View Report' permission to 'Allowed.'
Once enabled, users with that role type can see all Payroll Reports. For manager roles, reports will be scoped to only show the teams/employees they have permission to manage.

Payroll Reports Explained
Once you have navigated to Tanda's Payroll Reports, running and interpreting them should be relatively straightforward.
In most cases, Payroll reports will automatically load and show the desired data without any additional input. In some instances, you may be prompted to select the columns and filters you want the reports to display and then click GENERATE. For instance:
