When building a schedule, time off will need to be factored in to ensure an employee is not accidentally scheduled on while they are unable to work.

While leave and unavailability requests are stored under Time Off in the main navigation bar, time off can be viewed while in schedules to save going back and forth between tabs.

To view time off on while on a schedule:

  1. Ensure your schedule is set to Staff View. 

Once in staff view, time off requests will appear as shift cards. If you would like to only see time off, you can configure this under the ⚙ icon.

If you prefer to work in a stacked schedule view, time off will not appear as a shift card, but you will see a error message if you attempt to schedule on someone with time off submitted.

Unlike warnings, this error cannot be dismissed.
