Q: When is the new Time Clock being released?
A: The new time clock will be available in the App Store (iOS) and Play Store (Android) on the 29th of January. Devices running iOS 9.0+ and Android version 5.0+ are compatible.
Q: Will my device automatically update?
A: Your device may automatically update provided your device is plugged in to power, connected to Wi-Fi and has automatic app updates turned on.
Q. What do you mean by "make sure you send pending clockins before updating"?
A: On the old Time Clock, if you don't have internet connection or a there's a problem with your My Tanda account - your clockins will queue and display in your Time Clock as shown below:
Make sure all your clockins are sent before updating. The banner will not display if they have successfully sent :)
Q: What happens when I update my current Time Clock to the new Time Clock?
A: Because this is a major upgrade - the Time Clock will be reset as new when you update. As such it is important that you have your 8 digit setup code or login details ready at the time of updating so you won't miss any clock ins.

Q: Is there anything the current Time Clock does that isn't available any more?
A: One feature was discontinued in the new Time Clock. No longer can staff update their Unavailabilities at the Time Clock. Instead, use the Tanda mobile app.
Note that Leave is still able to be applied for at the Time Clock. See this help article.
Q: I use the web Time Clock on my web browser - can I use the new Time Clock?
A: The new Time Clock is not available in the web browser. The current web browser Time Clock is still available but will not receive any future updates.
Q: I use the Time Clock app on my desktop computer - can I use the new Time Clock?
A: The new Time Clock is not available as a desktop application. The current desktop application is still available but will not receive any future updates.
Q: I lease a device from Tanda that doesn't meet the minimum specifications required to run the new Time Clock. What can I do?
A: Contact Tanda and we'll let you know what we can do to help you get the new Time Clock.
Q: I use the current Time Clock in Kiosk Mode - how do I update to the new time clock?
A: The new Time Clock application supports Kiosk Mode as a setting. This will mean you'll need to uninstall your current Time Clock Kiosk Mode application (instructions here) and search for the new 'Employee Time Clock' in your store and install it. You can find detailed installation instructions for iOS and Android.
Q: I use the current Time Clock for my eu.tanda.co account - how do I update to the new time clock?
A: The new Time Clock application supports both my.tanda.co and eu.tanda.co. This will mean you'll need to uninstall your current Time Clock Application and search for the new 'Employee Time Clock' in your store and install it. You can find detailed installation instructions for iOS and Android.
