Staff eligible for Leave can enter their own leave in Tanda, either via the Time Clock, Employee Portal or My Tanda.

Depending on which options you want to allow Staff access to, you can configure or disable some options.

Time Clock

Staff can apply for Leave through the Time Clock itself. After entering their Passcode, they will see a Leave/Unavailability button in the bottom right.

To enable/disable:

In Tanda, go to Settings > General Settings > Time Off tab:

Ensure it is ticked to allow staff to enter Leave (this will also apply to the Employee Portal and My Tanda, explained further below). Untick if you don't want staff access to any Leave Requests in Tanda:

On the Time Clock, if the Leave button doesn't show when Staff enter their passcode, it just needs to be enabled on the Time Clock itself:

With an Admin level permission passcode, enter your Passcode on the Time Clock and click Settings in the bottom right corner:

Under Feature Management, ensure there is a tick in the Leave box:

For this option, Staff just need to know their Passcode to apply for Leave.

Employee Portal

The Employee Portal is accessed by going to my.tanda.co/portal. Leave can be entered in the portal under the Request Leave tab.

To enable/disable:

In Tanda, go to Settings > General Settings > Time Off tab:

Ensure it is ticked to allow staff to enter Leave.

Under the Employees tab, you will also need to have ticked that Employee can add times to their own timesheets. This controls access to the Employee Portal:

For this option, Staff just need to know their mobile number in Tanda, their Passcode and the Employee Portal link to request Leave.

My Tanda

For this option, you will need to invite staff to My Tanda. This is done in their profile, by clicking Invite to Tanda. You can have a look at this article for more detailed instruction on this:

To ensure Leave is configured for Staff, as in the methods above you just need to ensure that Leave is turned on in the General Settings.

To enable/disable:

In Tanda, go to Settings > General Settings > Time Off:

Ensure it is ticked to allow staff to enter Leave:
