Using a dedicated tablet device for your Tanda Time Clock is our recommendation, however if you would prefer, you can also run the Time Clock app on your computer. You should have a dedicated computer for this, so staff are not interrupted while trying to clock-in and-out. It is also suggested your computer has a webcam, so staff clock-in photos are recorded and added to Timesheets.
How to install the app
Navigate to the new Time Clock page in Tanda. Choose which type of computer you wish to install the app on (Mac or Windows).
Installing on Mac
Once you have downloaded the Tanda Time Clock to your computer double click on the shortcut to open it:
Drag the application into your application folder:
Navigate to your applications folder and open the Time Clock app.
Depending on your app settings you might get this message on your computer.
To fix this, just go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy and click Anywhere:
You may have to unlock the page before making adjustments:
Installing the Time Clock app is perfectly safe and you can remove it anytime you like.
Now re-open the Tanda Time Clock app. Make sure you are connected to the internet and happy clocking!
Installing on Windows
Once you have downloaded the Tanda Time Clock to your computer double click on the shortcut to open it.
Next you will see a warning message, click More info and Run Anyway. Installing the Time Clock app is perfectly safe and you can remove it anytime you like.
Run the .exe file and select the destination folder where you want to install the app. Click Next:
Click Create a desktop shortcut and click Next:
Click install to continue:
After installing, click Finish:
Now you will have the Time Clock Installed and ready to go on your computer. Make sure you are connected to the internet and happy clocking!
