This article helps you fix the following errors:

  • Employee doesn't have a payroll calendar in Xero
  • The Xero Payroll Calendar for this employee doesn't match the Tanda payroll calendar

This means that the pay run calendar in Xero does not match your timesheet pay period in Tanda. For example, if you have weekly timesheets in Tanda, but are running on a fortnightly payroll calendar in Xero, then the two systems won’t be able to talk to each other.

To fix this, check your payroll calendars in Xero. Ensure that the dates that cover your pay run match with Tanda timesheets. You can do this at Settings > Payroll Settings > Payroll Calendars.

Next, ensure that each employee’s payroll calendar is correct. To do this, go to Payroll > Employees. If it doesn’t match, click on the employee’s profile.

Go to employment tab then choose the correct payroll calendar. Don’t forget to save.
