Introducing Tanda To Your Team

Staff will use a 4 digit passcode to clock in and out of the Time Clock. You can SMS, Email or print out their passcodes from Tanda.

Go to Staff and My Team and click on the Tools drop down box on the far right hand side. Select Send Tanda info to Staff:

Staff with both a mobile phone number and email will automatically be selected. If staff have an exclamation mark next to their name, it means they're missing one or the other.

You can click on the exclamation mark next to their name to open their profile in a new tab and update the missing information.

Otherwise if you just want to send out by Email and know you have everyone's email addresses, just click Select All on the far right side of the screen.


To send out staff passcodes by SMS, ensure all staff member's are ticked then click on the blue Send Text Messages button, this will give you two options, select Send Time Clock Passcodes:

To preview a copy of what gets sent out to staff, click on the Sample SMS

By default, the Unavailability App link is sent out with the passcode SMS. If you don't want staff to have access to put in their own unavailability, you will need to turn this off before sending out the SMS.

To turn off the Unavailability App for Staff, under Settings and General Settings, click on the Rosters tab and untick Enable unavailability app for employee. Click to Update Settings at the bottom:

Now when you go back to Send Tanda info to staff and preview the SMS, it will only include the staff member's passcode:


To send out passcodes by email, ensure all staff member's are ticked and click on the blue Send Email button.

Finally, you can also print a copy of your staff passcodes. Back in Staff and My Team, click on Export, select Staff passcodes (PDF):
