Once you've set up TOIL in Tanda, you integrate this with your setup in MYOB.
TOIL Setup in MYOB
For TOIL in MYOB, you'll need two Wage payroll categories (one for TOIL accrued and one for TOIL Taken) and an Entitlement payroll category to link the two Wage categories. This is the setup that MYOB recommends, as outlined in their TOIL help guide.
To create your payroll categories, in MYOB, navigate to the Payroll command centre > Payroll Categories > Wages > New.
For TOIL Earned, ensure the Types of Wages is set to Hourly, the Pay Rate is a Fixed hours Rate of $0.00, and all eligible employees have been selected under the Employee tab.
For TOIL Taken, ensure the Type of Wages is also set to Hourly, the Pay Rate is a Regular Rate multiplied by 1, and all eligible employees have been selected under the Employee tab.
To create the Entitlement Payroll Category that links the two Wage Payroll Categories, navigate to Payroll command centre > Payroll Categories > Entitlements > New.
For the Entitlement category, ensure you set the calculation basis to 100% of your TOIL Earned payroll category, set the Linked Wage Category to TOIL Taken, and all eligible employees have been selected under the Employee tab.
Export TOIL from Tanda to MYOB
When TOIL is exported from Tanda to MYOB, TOIL accrued and TOIL taken will appear under the Enter Timesheets and Process Payroll sections of MYOB.
