Managing Deprecated Reports

A list of reports that we plan to remove in the coming months, with details on configuring replacements.

Updated this week

In recent months, Tanda has significantly upgraded our reporting suite. These upgrades include adding multiple new reports, columns, and filters, introducing new features such as saved and pinned reports, and generally cleaning up our backend reporting logic to improve performance, functionality, and the overall user experience.

Throughout this process, several of our older reports became redundant. This is because they were superseded by newly released reports that replicate and improve upon their functionality.

Accordingly, we will remove several old reports in the coming months, with the aim of reducing reporting redundancies and ensuring an intuitive, easily navigable reporting suite. Removing these older reports will also pave the way for future upgrades and improvements.

This help guide will list the reports we plan to remove and provide details on configuring a like-for-like replacement.

Which Reports Will Be Removed?

We plan to remove the following reports from Tanda over the coming months. Click on each report for details on configuring a replacement.

Why Are We Removing Reports?

Due to recent reporting upgrades, several of our older reports have become redundant, as our newer reports not only replicate their functionality but surpass it.

Accordingly, we will remove these reports in early 2025 to avoid redundancies and pave the way for future reporting upgrades.

Information on Replacement Reports

Below, we provide additional information on each of the reports we are removing, including details on configuring a replacement.

To avoid manually resetting your filters each time, we would strongly advise saving your custom reports to replace the ones we are removing. Learn more about this process in our Save Custom Reports help guide.

Of the reports we are removing, six will be replaced by the Costs by Employee Report, five by the Costs by Location and Team Report, five by the Costs by Date Report, and three each by the Timesheet Report and Shift Report.

Therefore, in anticipation of the upcoming removals, we highly recommend familiarising yourself with these specific reports and their filters and capabilities.

Casual Conversion Dashboard - Admin & Manager Versions

Replacement Report: Casual Conversion Report

Scheduled Removal Date: March 1, 2025

Further Details

From March 1, 2025, we will remove both versions of the Casual Conversion Dashboard and introduce the Casual Conversion Report, which will provide a similar dashboard to assess just one employee.

We are removing these dashboards because, from February 26 2025, the law will no longer require employers to undertake casual conversion assessments unless an employee actively requests one.

The new Casual Conversion Report will allow you to select an employee and generate a heat map showing the strength of their pattern of work. This heat map assigns a score from 0-100, with a higher score indicating a stronger pattern of work. Scores are calculated based on how often an employee worked a shift starting on that day and time in the past six months.

This report does not retain the entire functionality of the old dashboard, as some fields are redundant due to upcoming law changes.

The employee does not have to be casual to run this report, though this is the primary intended use case. You can also run the report for a part-time or full-time employee to see the strength of their work pattern if desired.

Workforce Dashboard Report

Further Details

We will not be directly replacing the Workforce Dashboard Report. As demonstrated above, the statistics in this report are now available in better detail in other new reports.

Vacant Shift Dashboard Report

Further Details

We will not directly replace the Vacant Shift Dashboard. Instead, vacant shifts will be visible in the upcoming Rostered Shift report.
